On 29th June we hosted a County interdivisional league game.

Our President and Chairman Ray commented "What a great morning of bowls with Kent div 1 playing against div 4. The standard was very good and played in good spirits. The green was excellent (thanks Mick) and thanks to Gill, Janet, Janice, Mark, Ricky and Malcolm for preparing the green, car park, bar and food, very much appreciated. Because they enjoyed our hospitality we might be asked to do the same next year. Well-done everyone who helped during the week."

This week, 16th July, the Club hosted the Kent ladies friendly match against Sussex.

Our Chairman commented "I would personally like to thank all personnel involved in all jobs in making Wednesdays game, Kent v Sussex ladies a great success. Also all those involved this coming weekend, well done.

On Saturday we held our Gala Triples Open Tournament. We had a bit of o delayed start to allow the green to drain after the rain, but all went well after that and the player stayed mostly dry for the rest of the day.and all seemed to have a good time.

The Tournament was won by a team from Maidstone bowls club, second was Tonbridge A and third Tonbridge B.

Well done to everyone who took part and thank to all the helpers for making it a great day for everyone.
